
2 and 1/2 cups rye flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 large egg
1 tablespoon plain yogurt
1 and 1/3 cup water
1 tbsp yeast
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
Add salt, maple syrup, and yeast in a bowl with warm water. cover the pot with a lid for 30 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, and yogurt until well combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms. You may need to adjust the amount of flour or yogurt slightly to achieve the right consistency. The dough should be soft but not too sticky.
Once the dough comes together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently for 2 hours to rest in a covered dish in a warm place
Place the dough onto a baking sheet and shape it to fit. Cover with a towel to rest 2 hours
You have the option to bake it either in the oven or in an air fryer using the bake function.
