Ingredients:
3 bananas, mashed
2 1/2 cups almond flour
1/2 cup arrowroot flour
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: Chopped almond flake for topping
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal.
Beat 3 eggs, and Vanilla extract for 3 mins
Add the banana to the eggs, mix it for 1 minutes
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it out evenly.
If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, carefully transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, slice and serve your banana almond flour cake as is, or top it with whipped cream, yogurt, or your favorite frosting.
You may use the bake option in your air fryer.
