Dal Lentil Nan(4 Nan)



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup red lentils

  • 2 cup water

Spices:

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp ginger

  • 1 tsp. thyme

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • Optional: 1/2 tsp chili flakes or 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Soak Lentils: Soak lentils in water for 12 hours or until softened.

  2. Blend: Drain excess water and blend soaked lentils with 2 cups of water until smooth.

  3. Season: Mix the batter with spices.

  4. Cook: Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladle of batter, and spread it thin like a pancake. ( divide them to 4 nan)( each one has 180 cal)

  5. Flip: Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.

    Notes: You can bake a thin layer of the batter in an air fryer by spreading it on parchment paper lightly greased with olive oil.
