Carnivore Mozzarella Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tablespoons full-fat Greek yogurt (unsweetened, plain)

  • 2 large eggs

  • Optional: pinch of salt or a dash of baking powder (not strict carnivore)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper (or grease a small loaf pan).

  2. Melt mozzarella in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30–45 seconds, until fully melted. Stir.

  3. Add Greek yogurt to the melted cheese and mix well.

  4. Crack in the eggs and whisk everything together until smooth. (The batter will be somewhat runny but thicker than pancake batter.)

  5. Pour into a greased small loaf pan or shape into rounds on a parchment-lined tray.

  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and set. A knife should come out clean from the center.

  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.




Variations (Carnivore-friendly):

  • Crispier texture? Add an extra egg white.

  • More density? Mix in 1–2 tbsp pork rinds powder or egg white powder.

  • Cheesy twist? Add some grated Parmesan for extra flavor.

    Carnivore-Adjacent Spices (Minimal Use, Optional):

    These are technically not carnivore, but often tolerated in small amounts:

    • ⚫ Black pepper

    • 🧄 Garlic powder (use sparingly)

    • 🧅 Onion powder (optional, tiny pinch)

    • 🌶️ Smoked paprika or paprika (for color and flavor)

    • 🍃 Italian seasoning (blend of oregano, basil, thyme)

       Avoid on Strict Carnivore:

      • ❌ All dried herbs (e.g., rosemary, parsley, thyme – unless part of relaxed plan)

      • ❌ All sweeteners (even natural ones like stevia or monk fruit)

      • ❌ Seed-based or pungent spices (e.g., cumin, mustard, turmeric)
